Problem

Problem

Metro’s Spring Series needed a cohesive promotional campaign that worked both online and in-person. The challenge was to create eye-catching motion graphics for social media to generate excitement, while also designing a series of printed posters for display throughout Washington Park. Both formats had to share a unified visual style, communicate event details clearly, and capture the lively, seasonal energy of the series.

Mittenfest, a seasonal beer festival in Over-the-Rhine, needed an engaging way to capture attention and drive ticket sales in the weeks leading up to the event. With a prime advertising opportunity on a downtown Jumbotron, the challenge was to design a motion graphic that could instantly catch the eye of passersby, communicate the excitement and atmosphere of the festival, and make the event feel unmissable. The project also required a series of social media posts highlighting the breweries that would be participating, which needed to spark interest among craft beer fans. I also needed to design on-site signage for the festival.

Solution

Solution

My team and I developed a vibrant, spring-inspired visual identity that seamlessly translated across both motion and print. For social media, I designed a dynamic motion graphic. For Washington Park, we created bold, high-visibility posters optimized for large-scale printing, ensuring they were easy to read from a distance while maintaining visual consistency with the digital campaign. Together, these materials gave Metro a cohesive and engaging presence that reached audiences online and in person at the park.
